GET STARTED WITH THE AMERICAN EXPRESS PREPAID FEATURE
To use the American Express Prepaid feature, you must have a new Osprey 1Card with the American Express magnetic stripe on the back. (See Example) If you do not have a new ID and would like one, click here to learn how to get one.
Once you have an ID with American Express functionality, getting started is easy:
With your card in hand, register your Osprey 1Card for online account access.If you have already registered your Osprey 1Card, you must log in to your account to update your profile. If you need help registering, here are the instructions.
Once you have online account access, you can register your American Express Prepaid feature using the link on your online account.
There, you will create an online account with American Express, and be walked through a set up process to enter your information. Once your information is verified (typically within 24 hours), you will be able to add value to the account two ways, anytime, 24/7 (Note: Funds from your Ozzie Bucks account CANNOT be transferred to the American Express Prepaid feature):
. Using a bank account – Link a bank account to your American Express Prepaid feature to transfer money. Once your bank account has
been verified, it will take 3-5 business days to add money from this account.
. Using cash with a MoneyPak®1 - Purchase a MoneyPak and enter the code to add money. Where to Buy. Funds are available for use as soon
as you transfer them from your MoneyPak.
Limited Time Offer: Add cash to The American Express Prepaid feature with a MoneyPak and American Express will refund the purchase fee of the first MoneyPak you use to load your Card.2
NOTE: You must add funds to your American Express Prepaid feature before using it for purchases.
