What is the Osprey 1Card?
The Osprey 1Card is the official identification card of the University of North Florida. It is issued to all members of the University Community and is required for identification and access to essential campus services. It also offers a convenient account for making purchases on and off campus. All students, faculty, and staff at the University of North Florida are currently eligible to receive an Osprey 1Card.

How do I get my Osprey 1Card?
All returning students should continue to use their Osprey 1Card from last semester. New students that attend summer orientation will receive their Osprey 1Card at that time. All other students that do not have an Osprey 1Card should visit the Osprey 1Card office located in Building 8, 1st Floor, Room 1100. They are open Mon – Tues. 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (except during intersession) and Wed. – Fri. 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

What if I lose my Osprey 1Card?
Immediately report a lost or stolen card to the Osprey 1Card Office at 904-620-4000. To deactivate your Ozzie Bucks account and/or your American Express Prepaid account, click here or call 1-888-290-2030. To get your new Osprey 1Card, visit the Osprey 1Card Office, Building 8, 1st Floor, Room 1100. Hours of operation are Mon.-Tues. 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (except during intersession) Wed.- Fri. 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. A $15.00 replacement fee must be paid in cash, check, money order, or declined from your Ozzie Bucks balance in order to receive your new card. With a Police report, the replacement fee is reduced to $10.00.
If the American Express Prepaid Feature on your lost Osprey 1Card was active, you will need to register your new Osprey 1Card with American Express. Call the number on the back of the Card to transfer the funds from your lost Card to your new one to have access to the funds in this account and to avoid fraud.
Ozzie Bucks is a cashless, prepaid spending account on your Osprey 1Card that is accepted on and off the University of North Florida campus. You must add value to your account before using Ozzie Bucks to make purchases. You must have sufficient value available in your Ozzie Bucks account to pay for each transaction. Each time you use your Ozzie Bucks account, the amount of the transaction will be deducted from your account. You may not spend more value than you have. Unused balances in Ozzie Bucks roll over semester to semester and year to year.

What is my Ozzie Bucks Number?
Your 16-digit Ozzie Bucks number is located on the front of your Osprey 1Card, just below your N number, and uniquely identifies your prepaid spending account.

What's the difference between my Meal Plan and Ozzie Bucks?
Both accounts are accessed by your Osprey 1Card.
All students are eligible to participate in a meal plan. Meal plans are only accepted as a form of payment at campus dining locations. Click here to learn more.
Ozzie Bucks is a prepaid spending account that is accepted at all campus dining locations plus many other locations on and off campus. It is designed to eliminate the need to carry cash. You or your parents must add value to Ozzie Bucks before using it for purchases. Value in Ozzie Bucks rolls over from semester to semester and from year to year.

When is value added to Ozzie Bucks available?
Funds transferred by debit/credit card and cash are available instantly. Check deposits are available on the business day received. If a check is returned to us by your financial institution for insufficient funds, the deposit will be reversed from your Ozzie Bucks account and a Returned Payment/Check fee will be assessed. If the Returned Payment/Check fee creates a negative balance in your account, you will be contacted to make another payment to the account.
How do I make a purchase
with Ozzie Bucks?
At retail locations, Ozzie Bucks works much like a debit or
credit card. Just present your Osprey 1Card for payment to the attendant at
the register. Your card will be swiped in a terminal and the transaction
authorized. You will need to sign a printed receipt of the approved
transaction. At self-service locations, simply insert your card in the
terminal.
Ozzie Bucks can be used at many campus locations and at off campus businesses. These can be identified by the “Welcomed” sticker featuring the Ozzie Bucks logo. Click here for a complete list of accepting locations.

Can funds from Scholarships, Grants and Loan awards be directly deposited into my Ozzie Bucks account?
These funds cannot be directly transferred into your Ozzie Bucks account. Once you receive these funds, you may use them to add value to your Ozzie Bucks account.

What is the Ozzie Bucks refund process?
You may receive a refund of your Ozzie Bucks Account balance when you graduate, withdraw or leave the University of North Florida. Proof of withdrawal or dismissal is required. Refund requests must be submitted to the College's card program service provider in writing to:

What happens if I swipe my card at a self-service location and the machine does not work?
If the self-service machine does not work properly, you will not be charged for the transaction. If for any reason you are charged, please email us a refund request. Please include the location, date & time of the transaction(s) in question.
What is the difference between Ozzie Bucks and Campus Cash?
Campus Cash broadens the acceptance of Ozzie Bucks off campus. So, in addition to being able to use Ozzie Bucks on and around the UNF campus, you can use it to make purchases at any business that displays the Campus Cash Welcomed sticker in the Jacksonville area.
